Canada May auto sales growth average Ford lead the public brand


According to "US Automotive News" released data show that Canada's May auto sales growth, the major car brand sales have set a new record. In May, Canadian new car sales rose 13% to 179,218 units, while the first five months of cumulative sales rose 5.1% year on year.
  Ford's sales in Canada in May were among the top brands, with 34,475 units sold, up 17% year-on-year.
GM rose to 36%, pickup up momentum
GM's sales in the market reached 31,149 units in May, up 36% year-on-year. Last month, GM's sales in the Canadian region continued to maintain a strong upward trend, up 43% year on year, to Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra as the leading, the two rose by 45% and 43% respectively. FCA sales record the best

FCA's sales in Canada is better than the Ram brand, Ram is the best monthly sales results, last month sold a total of 15,524, up 61%. Nissan Rogue into its best-selling models
Nissan sold 13,943 units in Canada in May, up 5.6% year on year, including Nissan brand and Infiniti brand. Nissan's best-selling model in Canada is Rogue, which last year sold 4,172 units, up 18% year-on-year. In addition, the Nissan Titan full-size pickups sold a total of 386, compared with the same period last year rose 121%.
Honda up to 12%
Honda's sales in Canada also hit the best monthly results, totaling 20,975 units, up 12% year-on-year. Toyota with sales of Lexus increased slightly by 7.8%
Toyota's sales in Canada rose 7.8% year-on-year. Toyota's sales in the market fell 9.9% in April, but its luxury car brand Lexus's eye-catching performance has improved Toyota's sales volume last month. Lexus last month sold 2,282 units, up 12% year on year.
