Brazil in the first half of the installed capacity of 237 megawatts of photovoltaic

According to the Brazilian Ministry of Minerals and Energy (MME) released data, as of the end of June this year, Brazil's solar power installed capacity has reached 237 MW.
It was reported that in the first half of 2017, the cumulative installed capacity of Brazilian PV was 92 MW. Brazil Solar Industry Association ABSOLAR said that as of the end of July, Brazil's cumulative installed capacity of photovoltaic has reached 100 megawatts.

The report said it expects there will be 530.4 megawatts of PV projects in 2017, with an increase of 1.34 GW in 2018. By the end of 2017, Brazil's centralized PV project will reach 675 megawatts. But ABSOLAR forecast more positive - the end of 2017, Brazil's centralized photovoltaic power generation installed capacity will reach 850 megawatts, distributed 150 megawatts, add up to break 1 gigawatts mark.
According to the report, the current size of Brazil's power generation is 152.8 GW, of which the largest hydropower scale is 98.7 MW, accounting for 64.6%. The scale of thermal power, including biomass power generation, is 43.2 GW, accounting for 28.2%; wind power is 10.7 GW Compared with 7%; and solar power accounted for only 0.2%.
