Boeing predicts that China's airlines will buy 7240 commercial aircraft worth as much as $ 1.1 trillion by 2036. The aircraft manufacturer's new 20-year outlook for the Chinese market on Wednesday was 6.3% higher than its previous estimate. "China 's fleet will grow at a higher rate than the global average, with nearly 20% of new aircraft demand coming from China - based airlines.


Boeing predicts that China will need 5420 single-channel new aircraft by 2036, accounting for 75% of the total new aircraft deliveries. For wide-body aircraft, Boeing predicts that China will need 1680 new aircraft during that period. The company also said that passenger airlines are likely to be concerned about the small and medium-sized wide-body machine, and large aircraft will be snapped up by cargo airlines.
In addition, according to the International Air Transport Association's forecast, China will surpass the United States in 2024 as the largest passenger volume in the world's largest passenger air market. Beijing hopes to get a share from the growing new aircraft market, in May this year, China Commercial Aviation to create 158 jet aircraft in Shanghai to achieve the first flight. According to industry analysts, although the aircraft will initially be difficult to compete with Airbus and Boeing, but is expected to perform well in the Chinese market.
