Analysis and Judgment of Common Faults in Wire Harness Processing

The rule of wire harness burning in the wire harness processing factory is: in the power system circuit, where the iron is laid, where the wire harness burns, the junction between the burnt and the intact part can be considered as the grounding of the wire harness, such as the wire harness burnt to somewhere. When the electrical equipment is connected, it indicates that the electrical equipment is faulty.

First, the battery line burned out

1. If the battery cable only burns a part, check the parts that are in contact with the cable burnout, and replace the battery line after cleaning the burr.

2. If the battery cable is completely burnt out, it indicates that the starter has failed. The test light is connected to the electromagnetic switch + pole of the starter and the positive pole of the battery. If the test light is on, it indicates that the electromagnetic open circuit has a fault; if the test light is not lit, it indicates that the starter has a fault.

Second, the generator + pole to the starter battery terminal between the wire harness burned out of the generator, remove the generator + pole lead, a power line between the battery + pole, the other end and the generator + pole contact, If a spark occurs, it indicates that the generator has failed. If there is no spark, it indicates that the harness is faulty.

Third, the wiring harness and relay leads burned out

1. Turn off the power switch, remove the relay, let it float, and connect the test light between the relay case and the body. If the light is on, it indicates that the relay is faulty. If the light is not bright, perform the following steps.

2. Turn on the power switch. If the test light is not lit, it means that the relay has no fault. Only the wiring harness can be replaced. If the test light indicates that the relay is faulty, the relay should be replaced.
