Design points of fire water supply system for wind farm booster station

The wind farm booster station is mainly constructed with a comprehensive building, a 35kV power distribution room, an auxiliary house, a main transformer and its power distribution device. The design requirements for the fire water supply system are as follows:
First, the fire water source
Fire water can be supplied by urban water supply network, natural water source or fire pool, and the water source requirements are guaranteed. Wind farms are generally far from the urban area, and municipalities cannot guarantee water supply. Generally, they use deep wells or pull water to enter the market.
Second, the fire pump room
Building requirements. The fire pump room of the wind farm booster station is generally not located in the comprehensive building because of the noise source. It is arranged separately in the edge area, and the fire resistance rating is not lower than the second level.
Fire pump. The fire pump includes a fire main pump and a constant pressure pump. The fire pump shall be guaranteed to start within 30 s after the fire. The constant pressure pump should be interlocked with the main fire pump. When the main fire pump is started, the steady pressure pump will automatically stop. The fire water supply system shall be equipped with a fire pump, and the flow and head of the standby pump shall not be less than the largest one of the fire working pumps.
Pipeline setup requirements. There should be no less than two suction pipes for a group of fire pumps, and valves for maintenance should be installed on the suction pipes.
The fire pump room should have no less than two outlet pipes connected to the ring pipe network. A pressure gauge for testing and inspection and a drain valve for DN65 shall be provided on the outlet pipe. When there is a possibility of overpressure, an overpressure facility shall be provided on the outlet pipe.
Third, fire power
Fire pumps, fire emergency lighting, etc. shall be supplied according to the secondary load, and the power supply shall be dual power supply or dual circuit power supply.
Fourth, the amount of fire water
Fire water quantity. The outdoor fire design water consumption is 15L/S, and the indoor fire design water consumption is 10L/S.
Water spray fire extinguishing system. A single main transformer with a capacity of 125,000 kVA or more shall be equipped with a water spray fire extinguishing system.
Calculation of fire water consumption. The amount of fire water supply is the sum of the maximum indoor and outdoor fire water consumption in the event of a fire. The number of fires at the same time in the booster station is determined once, and each time is calculated as 1h.
Five, fire pool
The necessity of setting. The wind farm booster station is generally far from the urban area, and the municipality cannot guarantee the water supply. Therefore, a fire pool should be provided.
capacity. The effective volume of the fire pool should be greater than the amount of fire water used once.
Type. The fire pool can be located underground in the integrated pump house or it can be set separately. Fire-fighting pools in severe cold and cold areas should be protected against freezing.
Arrangement requirements. The water replenishment time of the water-reducing pool should not exceed 48 hours, and the water-deficient area can be extended to 96 hours. The pool of fire water combined with production and domestic water shall adopt technical measures to ensure that fire water is not used for other purposes.
Sixth, fire equipment
A sufficient number of fire-fighting equipment shall be provided, which shall be located at an obvious and convenient location, and shall not affect the safety evacuation. The setting shall be stable and the nameplate shall face outward.
Fire extinguishers should not be located in wet or corrosive locations. When necessary, appropriate protective measures should be taken. Fire extinguishers located outside should be protected.
Do fire work from the source. From the perspective of safety, the wind farm should be built from the entire system project in the early stage. After the fire water supply system of the wind farm booster station is completed and put into use, the safety operation and maintenance management should be strengthened to prevent accidents.
