At present, the new infrastructure includes 7 major industrial directions, namely 5G base station construction, new energy vehicle charging piles, big data centers, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet, UHV, intercity, and Urban Rail Transit.

The current development of charging piles

So, what exactly is the current development of charging piles in China? Why can't keep up with the development of new energy vehicles?

According to the actual development, it should be that there are problems in various links of the industrial chain.

At present, the industrial chain of China's charging pile market mainly involves three links: upstream equipment production, midstream charging operations and downstream service provision. However, in these three aspects, cost, technology, standard, and efficiency have all become important factors restricting the survival and development of enterprises.

For example, in terms of upstream production, due to the complexity and complexity of the main body, materials, and parts involved, and the environment in which charging piles are used, the safety standards are very strict. Because many companies cannot meet such standards, they lack a certain degree of efficiency and quality in production. At the same time, it is reported that the average cost of a "slow filling pile" is more than 5,000 yuan, and the cost of a "fast filling pile" is more than 100,000 yuan. For production enterprises, such production cost pressure is too great. .

In terms of midstream operations, the construction and operation of charging piles or charging stations require operators to complete, but they also face the dual pressure of cost and technology. Charging piles are divided into public piles and private piles, and public piles are divided into decentralized charging piles and centralized dedicated charging piles. Different classifications require different technologies and different costs. At present, operators are facing severe tests on decentralized charging piles for all electric vehicle applications and special piles for operating vehicle applications such as public transportation and rental.
