Germany spends 19.4 billion yuan! Install charging piles at gas stations

The transformation of automobiles to electrification is already a major trend. For this reason, Germany, a powerful country in the automobile industry, is also making active countermeasures.

Moreover, Germany is regarded as one of the most active countries in Europe for electric vehicles. In addition to issuing huge new energy vehicle purchase subsidies, the government will also provide additional financial subsidies to increase the construction of charging piles, and even gas stations must be built. Overfilled pile.

According to foreign media reports, the German government recently announced that it will further promote the sales of electric vehicles and that Germany will accelerate the transformation of domestic gas stations to fast charging stations.

According to the plan announced by the German government, it is expected that in 2022, 25% of gas stations in Germany will be able to quickly charge electric vehicles. This proportion will increase to 50% by the end of 2024 and further increase to 75% by the end of 2026.

To this end, all major gas stations in Germany will build fast charging piles with a power of not less than 150kW. However, the construction cost of overfilled piles is not low. Previously, the German government had promised that it would spend 2.5 billion euros (approximately RMB 19.4 billion) to build electric vehicle charging infrastructure, while allowing gas stations participating in the transformation to use the above-mentioned special funds.

At present, the construction of electric vehicle infrastructure in Germany is extremely rapid. As of May this year, the total number of charging piles in Germany reached 27,700, an increase of nearly 60% year-on-year. And public charging piles in Germany have been able to provide charging services for 440,000 electric vehicles.

In addition, Germany’s subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicles are also generous. As long as they purchase pure electric vehicles under 40,000 euros, German consumers can enjoy the subsidies provided by the government up to 6,000 euros (approximately RMB 46,000).

Under such a car purchase subsidy policy and the environment in which vehicles are used, the sales of new energy vehicles in Germany have grown rapidly. According to data released by the German Federal Automobile Transport Agency, from January to September this year, Germany sold a total of 204,300 new energy vehicles, accounting for 15.6% of new car sales.
