As of November, my country's automobile production and sales have shown growth for eight consecutive months, and sales growth has remained above 10% for seven consecutive months.
From January to November, my country's automobile production and sales reached 22.372 million and 22.47 million, and the industry situation showed a trend of steady progress. The relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers predicts that annual car sales are expected to reach 25 million vehicles.
From the perspective of market segments, passenger vehicles continued to maintain rapid growth. In November, the production and sales of passenger vehicles were 2.329 million and 2.297 million, setting new highs for the year, with year-on-year growth of 7.5% and 11.6%, and their contribution to the overall auto market exceeded 70%. Driven by trucks, commercial vehicles still showed rapid growth, with production and sales of 518,000 vehicles and 472,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 20.3% and 18%. The new energy vehicle market performed outstandingly. In November, 200,000 new energy vehicles were sold, an increase of 24.1% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 104.9%. From January to November, a total of 1.109 million new energy vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%.
