   The "Thousand Towns and Ten Thousand Villages Wind Control Plan" was once again officially confirmed, which means that the development of decentralized wind power is expected to usher in strong policy support.
        Calculations from the China Wind Energy Association show that there are 690,000 administrative villages in the country. If 100,000 of them are villages, 200 square meters can be found on scattered land such as fields, houses in front of the village, country roads, etc. for the installation of two sets of 5 With a megawatt wind turbine, 1,000 gigawatts of wind power can be installed nationwide. In the future, with the implementation of the "Thousands of Towns and Ten Thousand Villages Wind Control Plan", the large-scale development of decentralized wind power will open up the space for wind power growth, and the domestic wind power industry will obviously benefit.
   In addition to the "Thousands of Towns and Ten Thousand Villages Wind Control Plan", the wind power industry is also actively recommending the implementation of the "Hundred Counties, Thousands of Villages and Ten Thousands Project" across the country. That is, in 100 counties across the country, the first batch of 5,000 villages were selected, using scattered unused land in rural areas, and each village installed 2 wind turbines for a total of 10,000 units, and centralized planning and packaging approval were carried out on the county level. On the whole, the regulatory authorities and the wind power industry have reached a consensus on promoting the development of decentralized wind power, but the further large-scale development of decentralized wind power still needs specific policy support similar to the promotion of the entire county by rooftop distributed photovoltaic.

   Decentralized wind power opens up room for growth
   Decentralized wind power is a wind power project that is located near the power load center and does not aim at large-scale long-distance transmission of power. The generated power is connected to the grid nearby and consumed locally. As an important component of the wind power business, the growth space of decentralized wind power is gradually opening up.
   In 2019, the newly added distributed wind power installed capacity in China was 300MW, which accounted for about 1% of the domestic new hoisted wind power scale. As of the end of 2019, the cumulative installed capacity of distributed wind power nationwide was 935MW, which is a small scale. In European countries such as Germany, the development of decentralized wind power is relatively mature. In 2017, Germany conducted three rounds of wind power project bidding, with a total of 747 bids, corresponding to an average unit scale of about 10MW.
   Decentralized wind power is a distributed power source with high energy density.    The development of domestic decentralized wind power is ushering in an opportunity.    Since 2018, localities have increased their emphasis on decentralized wind power, and introduced a large number of decentralized wind power projects. According to incomplete statistics, from 2018 to 2020, the decentralized development plans issued by various provinces and localities include more than 16 GW of projects.
       It is worth mentioning that the development environment of decentralized wind power in China has undergone major changes recently. Under the carbon neutral strategy, developers, local governments and other major participants have increased their enthusiasm for decentralized wind power; at the same time, decentralized wind power Wind power can be combined with national strategies such as rural revitalization and is expected to receive further support from policies. Since 2021, the trend of large-scale domestic wind turbines has been obvious. In 2021, the single-machine capacity of the newly tendered distributed wind turbines has increased by 50% compared with the single-machine capacity of the projects put into operation in 2019, which will drive the cost of wind turbines and other wind farm investment costs to drop. In addition, the large-scale wind turbines have expanded the development space, and the new wind power foundation further saves land, which is expected to promote the accelerated development of decentralized wind power.
